​Product Warranty Policy
1. Overview

At Hydromatic Store, we are committed to delivering high-quality products across irrigation systems, water reticulation, solar solutions, pumps, electric fencing, gate automation, and related equipment.

This Warranty Policy outlines the terms under which products sold are covered against manufacturing defects and performance failures under normal use.

2. Warranty Coverage

All products supplied are covered by a limited warranty against defects in:

  • Materials

  • Workmanship

  • Manufacturing faults

 

The warranty applies only under:

  • Normal operating conditions

  • Proper installation

  • Use in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

 

3. Warranty Period

Warranty duration varies depending on the product category:

              Solar Panels                        5 – 25 years (manufacturer dependent)

               Inverters                             6 – 24 months

               Water Pumps                     6 – 24 months

               Solar Pumps                       6 – 24 months

               Irrigation Equipment         6 – 12 months

               Gate Motors                      12 – 24 months

               Electric Fence Systems      6 – 12 months

               Water Tanks                        1 – 5 years

 

Note: Exact warranty period is specified on the invoice or product documentation.

4. What Is Covered

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Internal component failure (not caused by misuse)

  • Performance failure under normal operating conditions

 

Hydromatic Store will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace defective components

  • Replace the product entirely (if irreparable)

 

5. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

 

5.1 Improper Use or Installation
  • Incorrect installation or setup

  • Use outside recommended specifications

  • Unauthorized modifications

 

5.2 External Damage
  • Physical damage (drops, impact, mishandling)

  • Water damage (where not rated waterproof)

  • Fire, lightning, flooding, or natural disasters

 

5.3 Electrical & System Issues
  • Voltage fluctuations or power surges

  • Incorrect wiring or system integration

  • Poor earthing or grounding

 

5.4 Wear and Tear
  • Normal aging or degradation

  • Consumables and replaceable parts

 

5.5 Third-Party Interference
  • Repairs by unauthorized technicians

  • Use of non-compatible accessories or parts

 

6. Installation Requirements

For warranty validity:

  • Installation must be carried out by:

    • Qualified technicians, or

    • Hydromatic Store team (recommended)

  • For critical systems (solar, pumps, automation):

    • Proper system design must be followed

    • Correct sizing and protection systems must be installed

Failure to comply may void warranty.

7. Warranty Claim Procedure

To lodge a claim:

  1. Notify Hydromatic Store immediately upon detecting a fault

  2. Provide:

    • Proof of purchase (invoice/receipt)

    • Product details and serial number (if applicable)

    • Description of the issue (photos/videos where possible)

  3. Deliver or arrange inspection of the product

 

8. Inspection & Assessment
  • All returned items are subject to technical inspection

  • A diagnostic process will determine:

    • Whether the issue is warranty-related

    • Whether repair or replacement applies

Assessment period: Typically 3–7 working days (may vary)

9. Repair & Replacement Terms
  • Repairs will be carried out within a reasonable timeframe

  • Replacement may be:

    • New product, or

    • Equivalent refurbished unit

  • Warranty does not reset after replacement unless stated

 
10. Transport & Logistics
  • Customer is responsible for:

    • Returning the product (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Hydromatic Store covers:

    • Return shipping for approved warranty claims (case-dependent)

 
11. Limitation of Liability

Hydromatic Store shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of income or business interruption

  • System downtime

  • Damage to other equipment

  • Indirect or consequential losses

 

12. Manufacturer Warranty

Where applicable:

  • Products carry original manufacturer warranties

  • Hydromatic Store acts as a facilitator for claims

 
13. Commercial Installations

For large systems (e.g. farms, estates, commercial solar installations):

  • Warranty may be subject to:

    • Service agreements

    • Maintenance schedules

    • Professional commissioning

 
14. Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty validity:

  • Regular servicing is required for:

    • Pumps

    • Solar systems

    • Irrigation systems

    • Electric fencing

Failure to maintain systems properly may void warranty.

 

15. Policy Updates

Hydromatic Store reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
